Delta Central Senatorial District Senator, Ede Dafinone, has praised President Bola Tinubu and Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, over the impressive pace and extent of work on the Benin-Sapele-Effurun Expressway.
Dafinone emphasized that his letter to the minister and consistent follow-up were included in the work in progress, with relief finally reaching commuters and businesses on the vital road. He also welcomed the recent completion of the Benin-Asaba Expressway rehabilitation, which he described as a show of Tinubu’s dedication towards reconstructing Nigeria’s infrastructure.
The Tinubu government’s commitment to infrastructural refurbishment is seen in the consistent construction on major highways that have been in deplorable condition for decades. These are crucial to economic development in Delta State, the Niger Delta, and Nigeria as a whole,” he stated.
He praised Minister Umahi for his initiative work in seeing proper attention and funds for priority road projects. The Ministry of Works’ objective is that, as Dafinone described it, it is with the overall aim of the government to develop national roads and economic advancement.
The senator urged Nigerians, particularly from the Niger Delta, to join the Tinubu administration in helping to revive the infrastructure of the country. He reaffirmed his commitment to spearheading the efforts for increased federal development projects within Delta Central and beyond.
