The Bauchi State Commissioner of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Hon. Hajara Yakubu Wanka, has praised Governor Bala Mohammed for emerging as LEADERSHIP Governor of the Year 2024 due to his outstanding commitment to infrastructural development.
In a statement released by the ministry’s information officer, Adama Ibrahim, the commissioner stated that the award was a well-deserved one, thanking the governor’s development projects that have persistently drawn sustainable development and economic growth throughout the state.
“This award is a reflection of your tenacity, perseverance, and unwavering dedication towards building a wealthy environment for human capital development and economic prosperity,” she stated.
Hon. Wanka reassured the governor of the total support of her ministry for the governor’s “My Bauchi Project” — a holistic development agenda for social inclusion, infrastructure, and humanitarian intervention.
She wished Governor Mohammed even more national recognition, crediting his inclusive leadership and people-oriented policies as key drivers of progress.
