Seven people lost their lives in a tragic auto accident on Tuesday night along the Bida-Mokwa Road in Panti, Lavun Local Government Area of Niger State. The accident involved a truck traveling from Lagos to Abuja and a Toyota Corolla car heading from Batati to Kutigi, the local government headquarters. The collision resulted in the deaths of all seven occupants of the Toyota Corolla, comprising five women and two men.
Confirming the incident, the Niger State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kumar Tsukwam, stated that the victims’ bodies have been deposited at the Kutigi General Hospital. Investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
