The Commissioner of Police for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), CP Olatunji Disu, has been struck by tragedy following the death of his son, Tunde Disu, in a motor accident. Details surrounding the fatal incident remain unclear at the time of reporting, but sources confirm it occurred on Monday. Coincidentally, this was the same day CP Disu paid a condolence visit to CSP A.A. Sambo, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ushafa Division, who also recently lost his son.
During the visit, CP Disu offered words of comfort to CSP Sambo and assured him of the FCT Police Command’s support during this difficult time. He prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased and for divine strength to sustain the grieving families.
Efforts to reach the FCT Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Josephine Adeh, for an official statement have so far been unsuccessful. However, the FCT Police Command continues to extend its condolences to both families in their time of loss.
