At the Africa Fintech Summit 2023, the prestigious Excellence in Commerce Enablement Award was presented to the fintech company Accelerex.
The ceremony reportedly took place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C., United States. It was stated that the award recognizes businesses that have contributed to the growth and development of Africa’s fintech business landscape.
Mr. Olukayode Ariyo, the Managing Director of Accelerex, said in a statement, “The honor is a testament to the dedication and innovation of the entire Accelerex team in the provision of world-class payment and innovative products to businesses across Africa.
“We are at the forefront of commerce enablement and electronic payment simplification solutions. We are also committed to expanding financial inclusion and providing financial services to underserved and underbanked populations.
According to the summit’s chief organizer, Mr. Andrew Barden, the fintech won the award after a comprehensive and in-depth “analysis of its role in the retail and trade markets across Africa and was voted this year’s category winner by over two thousand voting industry stakeholders from around the world.”
