Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has sparked a wave of reactions online after revealing his desire to name his future son “Trump,” in admiration of the newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump, who won the 2024 election against Kamala Harris.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, the actor, who tragically lost his first son over a year ago, expressed his wish to have another son with his second wife, Judy Austin. He announced that if he were blessed with a son, he would name him “Trump” after the American politician. Edochie also referred to Trump as the “Leader of the Stubborn Boys Association,” hinting at his respect for the former U.S. president’s strong-willed and determined nature.
Edochie’s statement read:
“If God blesses me with another son, I’ll name him Trump. Named after President Donald Trump. Leader of the Stubborn Boys Association.”
