Wike’s Alleged Obituary Photo Sparks Uproar, Minister Debunks Death Rumors

An alleged obituary photo of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has surfaced online, causing widespread reactions and speculation.

The image, which circulated on social media platforms like TikTok and X, emerged following rumors that Wike collapsed at an event in Abuja on Friday. Some users even claimed he had passed away, intensifying the speculation.

The obituary-style photo, featuring Wike’s image, quickly gained traction, leaving many in shock.

However, Wike dispelled the rumors by making a public appearance on Sunday, leading FCT community leaders on a Sallah homage to President Bola Tinubu at the State House, effectively putting the speculation to rest.
