Portable has reacted to the ongoing drama with actor Babatunde Bernard Tayo, popularly known as Baba Tee, who admitted to sleeping with skit maker Ijoba Lande’s wife, Dara.
The news ran wild on social media as Baba Tee initially disowned the allegations before finally owning up. The majority of Nigerians were angry, while others had different opinions on the matter. Portable, never one to shy away from speaking his mind and making a statement on topics of the moment, also joined the fray.
Zazu Zeh singer sent a string of voice notes to Baba Tee, where he outrightly accused him of sleeping with another man’s wife. Disappointed, Portable explained that he had respected Baba Tee and never imagined that he would do this to him. He further went on to point out the fact that men who sleep with married women in pursuit of extramarital affairs tend to suffer failures in life.
Using the incident as an example, Portable cautioned men in no uncertain terms to desist from troubling his women, particularly his fourth baby mama, actress Ashabi Simple. He declared categorically that he would not tolerate any form of infidelity on the part of his girlfriends.
Despite accusing Baba Tee of it, Portable also pointed the finger at Ijoba Lande for not allowing him the right to hold sway in his own home as a man so that such matters could be kept from happening.
The provocative singer, who is currently embroiled in court battles with the Ogun State government, concluded his address by emphasizing the need for men to respect marriage and avoid relationships that would lead to complications or shame. He stated:
“Baba Tee, with the way I like you so much, you shouldn’t be sleeping with other people’s wives. You gave Lande’s wife doggy, is that how you people behave in the movie industry? I swear to God, if anybody moves close to my own wife, the person would die o, my wife that is an actress, if I see anybody doing rubbish with her, the person will die.
I’m telling you [Baba Tee] because it should not be like that. Why would you sleep with that guy’s [Lande] wife? And I like and respect you o.
Normally, anyone who sleeps with another man’s wife is not at fault but would you do it? Sleeping with another man’s wife brings setback into one’s life. Don’t let that repeat itself. You’re a blessed person. A man who sleeps with another man’s wife despite knowing her husband, causes setback for himself. God won’t let you see set back bro.
With uncountable women in this world, you let that man molest you, even though it’s his wife that’s a dog. Please o I’m begging you in God’s name, you know you come to visit me a lot and we both visit each other, it won’t be good if we become enemies.
That Truth or Dare game you’re using to sleep with other people’s wives, please stop it, it’s not good bro. It’s because I love you that I’m in your DM telling you. Baba Tee, no matter what, a man who sleeps with another’s wife is blameless, it’s the husband that should warn his wife.”
Not stopping there, Portable also posted a video, freestyling about the scandalous situation between Baba Tee and Ijoba Lande’s wife, Darasimi.
