Social critic Vincent Martins Otse, widely known as Verydarkman, is gearing up for a legal battle after Ihuoma Nneji, a socialite and daughter of ABC Transport Company owner Frank Nneji, filed a lawsuit against him. The case has been brought before the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Ihuoma claims that Otse has defamed her character, along with journalist Kemi Olunloyo and lawyer Henry Ikenna Uzochukwu. The accusations against her include allegedly pretending to be an American travel nurse, while in reality, she was a care worker.
Furthermore, she is charged with spreading unverified information about her ex-husband’s family and undergoing multiple cosmetic procedures, including a BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift). It has also been alleged that she has been married five times.
The lawsuit has stirred up various reactions online, with many internet users finding humor in Verydarkman’s ongoing legal troubles. Wahalanetwork shared it on their profile

@big_nedum: “Lawsuit here and there against one person and nobody don win him.”
@revolutional_icon: “Honestly, if VeryDarkMan keeps going around defaming everyone and acting like he’s untouchable, he’s setting himself up for a massive downfall. Imagine having 50 lawsuits against you in Nigeria—your finances would be drained, your reputation destroyed, and the stress alone would break you. Let’s hope he learns before it’s too late, because no one is bigger than Nigeria. #LessonsComing”
