Two Traders Dead, 27 Hospitalised Amid New Gbagi Market Demolition Crisis in Ibadan

Two traders have lost their lives and 27 others are hospitalised following the demolition of shops at the New Gbagi International Market in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The New Gbagi Petty Traders Association has called on the Olubadan of Ibadanland and Governor Seyi Makinde to intervene and halt the ongoing demolition, which has devastated their livelihoods. In response, the Olubadan urged patience and peaceful resolution of the crisis, emphasizing the importance of maintaining peace in Ibadanland.
