A Magistrate Court in Wuse, Abuja, has ordered the remand of two siblings, Mr. Enenche Enenche and Alexander Enenche, along with Pastor Abraham Daniel, at the Keffi Custodial Centre in Nasarawa State on charges of defamation.
The Enenche brothers, who are siblings of Pastor Paul Enenche, the senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Church, were remanded following a request by the Nigerian Police Force. The police had obtained a remand order from the Wuse Zone 6 Magistrate Court on Monday evening.
The trio had earlier been invited by the police over allegations of cyberbullying and criminal defamation against Pastor Paul Enenche. After honoring the invitation, they were held in police custody until Monday evening, when the court order was issued.
Sources reveal that Alexander Enenche and Pastor Daniel were initially arrested and detained on January 7, 2025. While they were released the following day after reaching an agreement to settle the matter amicably, the issue resurfaced, leading to their eventual remand.
