Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham was in the public storm spotlight after making a comment on culinary blogger Chef T‘s page as controversy rages over actress Wumi Toriola.
The drama began when Wumi Toriola boldly posted a personal conversation with Tolani Osikoya, also known as Chef T of Diary of a Kitchen Lover.
Toriola had accused the food blogger of disrespecting her invitation for collaboration, and the online argument instantly became heated.
As the argument continued, Toyin Abraham visited Chef T’s Instagram page and left a comment in lovestruck emojis, with a tongue-in-cheek remark about waiting eagerly for her food.
What was a seemingly innocuous comment soon turned into controversy, with some social media commentators labeling Abraham as insincere.
Critics labeled her ‘alabosi,’ a Yoruba term meaning ‘two-faced,’ in the implication that she was trying to curry favor with Chef T amid drama with Toriola.
But someone defended Abraham, pointing out that she usually reacts to Chef T’s updates and that her own comment had absolutely nothing to do with the existing controversy.
