Nigerian media personality, actress, and businesswoman Toke Makinwa got a taste of harsh family truth when she hosted her siblings on her podcast, Moments with Toke. In the episode, Toke asked her siblings how it had been having a celebrity sister—whether it was a good thing that came with benefits or not.
But instead of the responses she maybe expected, her siblings took the opportunity to call her out on a number of issues. They claimed she kept them in the dark about major life occurrences. One of the most astounding revelations?
They claimed that she published her book without informing them beforehand, only inviting them to the launch at the last minute. Even more astounding, they claimed she got married without informing them! This revelation set social media ablaze, with some fans questioning whether Toke had remarried secretly.
Despite the roasting, the episode was a fan favorite, with fans praising the siblings’ humor, sincerity, and the utter resemblance. Toke herself did not take the criticism personally, writing on social media:
