Well-known Nigerian artist Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni, recently demonstrated her compassionate side in a heartwarming video shared on February 13, 2025. In the clip posted on her verified Instagram account, Teni surprises a single mother selling herbs by the roadside with a generous gift of N1 million and covers several of her expenses to support her during tough economic times.
This gesture follows Teni’s recent $50,000 (N75 million) win after Arsenal defeated Manchester City 5-1 in an EPL match. Like content creator Asherkine, who helps those less fortunate, Teni stepped out of her luxury car to buy all the herbs from the vendor. She explained that she had passed by the spot the previous day and chose to return.
Her generosity didn’t stop there. Teni treated the vendor, identified as Chinonso Angel Ojeh, to a day of pampering, which included a spa session, shopping for wigs and Crocs, and hiring a makeup artist for a full makeover. The singer went even further by booking a luxury hotel for Chinonso and presenting her with N1 million. Overwhelmed with gratitude, Chinonso lay on the floor and prayed for Teni after receiving the life-changing gift.
Sharing the heartwarming moment on her Instagram page, Teni captioned the post: “IT IS THE SEASON OF LOVE.”
