Nigerian music star Tiwa Savage has revealed why she avoids signing upcoming artistes, citing the stress and responsibility of managing musicians. In a recent interview with Forbes Africa, the Water & Garri hitmaker admitted that she doesn’t believe she has the right “gift” to mentor and oversee artistes under her label. Instead, she prefers to support talents in a different way. “Everyone always says to me, ‘When are you going to sign an artiste?’ I don’t think I have the gift to sign another artiste because artistes are stressful.
