Tiwa Savage Explains Why She Won’t Sign Upcoming Artistes

Nigerian music star Tiwa Savage has revealed why she avoids signing upcoming artistes, citing the stress and responsibility of managing musicians. In a recent interview with Forbes Africa, the Water & Garri hitmaker admitted that she doesn’t believe she has the right “gift” to mentor and oversee artistes under her label. Instead, she prefers to support talents in a different way. “Everyone always says to me, ‘When are you going to sign an artiste?’ I don’t think I have the gift to sign another artiste because artistes are stressful. I could just be sleeping, and then I will wake up, and my artist is trending for something else,” she explained. At 45, Savage is instead focusing on building a music school where aspiring musicians can hone their skills before getting signed by record labels that can fully support their careers. “But I do have the gift to help, which is why I am trying to do the music school, where you can go and later sign to a label that can actually help you,” she added. Tiwa Savage Ex, Teebillz Apologizes to Toke Makinwa After Their Public Feud Over Family Matters

After a heated exchange with Toke Makinwa, Teebillz has issued a public apology for his comments about her lack of understanding of his family dynamics. The back-and-forth started when Toke Makinwa publicly criticized 2Baba over his divorce announcement with Annie Idibia while she was in rehab. This sparked a war of words between the two, with Teebillz weighing in on the situation. However, during a live session on Instagram with popular OAP Daddy Freeze, as shared by Instablog9ja, Teebillz made it clear that he regretted his remarks. He explained that his statements were driven by Toke’s initial outburst about feeling disappointed and ashamed of 2Baba’s decision to announce the separation publicly. Teebillz argued that family issues should be kept private, suggesting that separation can sometimes be necessary for healing and to allow both parties to rebuild their relationship. He went on to apologize to Toke, clarifying that his comments were not meant to attack her personally. “I would like to publicly apologize to Toke. I think my message was misconstrued because, at the end of the day, we are all family. You see, this feminist thing is getting out of hand. “My question is, where was she all this while in Annie’s life? You see these reality shows [Young Famous and African], they just want to prey on people’s flaws to make content. Nobody holy pass. When I saw this thing, all I did was pray for this couple because, at the end of the day, who’s going to help who? “This separation is a blessing for Annie and 2Baba to fix themselves. Who knows whether they are coming back together tomorrow? Who are we to choose sides?” Teebillz also shared his perspective on his own divorce from Tiwa Savage, emphasizing that outsiders shouldn’t judge others based on personal struggles. He acknowledged the difficulty of dealing with public opinions about family matters, stating, “You can’t judge anyhow how they express themselves with something they’ve bottled for years. You can’t come out to say ‘I am ashamed for you.’ When it comes to family feuds, no one wins because I went through the same thing. I gave everything to Tiwa Savage, but the problem we had was the entertainment world.” Reflecting on his relationship with Tiwa, Teebillz said, “You have to give credit to the women. Every time wey I dey fight for Tiwa, people think I am mad; that’s the mother of my child. When I see my child doing well, I am happy and that’s because of Tiwa.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Instablog9ja (@instablog9ja) Related Posts Uriel was evicted, not Adekunle or Doyin. Tiwa Savage Sparks Online Debate with Vacation Video Featuring Son

Tiwa Savage, the celebrated Afrobeats star, recently ignited conversations across social media with a video from her vacation. The clip, shared on her Instagram story on Sunday, January 19, featured the singer enjoying a shower in a striking green bikini, alongside other moments from her holiday with her son, Jamil Balogun. At 44, Tiwa’s youthful appearance drew admiration from fans, with many praising her natural beauty and confidence. However, the video also sparked controversy, with some criticizing her choice of attire and questioning its appropriateness, especially given that she was vacationing with her son. One commenter, @Xperience_Snr, said, “We’ll start telling ourselves the truth someday about her. This is something a secondary school girl should be doing, not her. This is not fun nor is it pleasing to the eye. The more I see her videos and pictures, the more I believe that sex tape was INTENTIONAL.” Others took a more lighthearted approach. @kinging_0007 remarked, “See shape, nothing beats SA girls when it comes to shape sha. Naturally built different.” Meanwhile, @peculairolar88_ praised her natural figure, saying, “With all her money and fame, she didn’t do BBL coz she’s naturally sexy, but Nancy from Remo will feel her body isn’t good enough until BBL join. Olorun Ku suru.” Still, some criticized her behavior, suggesting it was an attempt to remain in the spotlight. @mrTwain97 commented, “She sha no wan leave the spotlight, anything to keep getting this attention.
