The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has apprehended 108 individuals, including four Chinese nationals and 104 Nigerians, for alleged involvement in an internet fraud scheme. The arrests took place on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at a business apartment in the Gudu area of Abuja, according to EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale.   The suspects, comprising 67 men (including the Chinese nationals) and 38 women, were reportedly involved in a hotel review scam targeting victims and establishments across Europe and other parts of the world.   The EFCC confirmed that all suspects would be charged to court following the conclusion of investigations.
