As the furor grows over Nigerian celebrities showcasing fake luxury brands, socialite Cubana Chiefpriest (Pascal Okechukwu) and businessman Obi Cubana (Obinna Iyiegbu) have been confirmed to be owners of authentic designer pieces. From a GistLover report, Instagram account @T20luxury, which is dedicated to exposing fake luxury items, recently tagged some top celebrities such as Regina Daniels, Kcee, and Iyabo Ojo for donning off-the-counter stylish imitation products. Regina Daniels entered the limelight first because she was suspected of opening a counterfeit Rolex watch that cost $30,000, which she claimed it was worth $30,000. She has since been under fire again for possessing fake Chanel handbags. Similarly, artist Kcee was criticized for wearing a counterfeit designer denim jacket, with the authentic brand emphasizing the need for celebrities to set examples by wearing original luxury items. Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo was also in the limelight when a foreign luxury boutique alleged that her Louis Vuitton monogram camera box bag was counterfeit. To the contrary, Cubana Chiefpriest and Obi Cubana received a thumbs up from @T20luxury, confirming that the designer clothing they wore was 100% authentic. The platform celebrated with them, calling them “No Fake Zones”. Cubana Chiefpriest was pictured in: A Hermès Herbag Zip Cabine bag that costs $6,000 (₦9.6 million) An Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch that costs $150,000 (₦240 million) Loro Piana Summer Walk shoes, which cost $1,100 (₦1.8 million) Obi Cubana was spotted in genuine Bottega Veneta loafers, which were confirmed to be authentic, although the price was not disclosed. The post sparked mixed reactions online, with many praising Cubana Chiefpriest and Obi Cubana for their commitment to authenticity, while others questioned the credibility of @T20luxury’s assessments. @obodo_happyside advised: “If you’re a billionaire, please try and afford original items, even if it’s just a few. It matters.” @aktok886 respected the pair: “CP Chiefpriest is one of the few Igbo young billionaires who wear authentic designer clothes. No copies, no fakes. He and Obi Cubana shop at high-end department stores like Harrods and Selfridges.” Related Posts Uriel was evicted, not Adekunle or Doyin. Nigerian actress Tonto Dikeh has fired back at socialite Cubana ChiefPriest after he assumed that her recent social media post was directed at him. On Wednesday, Tonto questioned why men seem to be avoiding DNA tests, a statement many linked to the ongoing paternity dispute between Cubana ChiefPriest and a Kenyan woman named Hellen. “I was under the impression that it was women who were supposed to be avoiding DNA tests—so why are men the ones running now? The irony is unreal,” she wrote in an Instagram story. Hellen has accused Cubana ChiefPriest of fathering her son and has repeatedly requested a DNA test, which he has yet to take. Feeling targeted, Cubana ChiefPriest responded on Instagram, alleging that Tonto Dikeh is the anonymous blogger behind Gistlover and claimed she was attacking him because he refused to do her a favor. In response, Tonto Dikeh took to social media in the early hours of March 6 to set the record straight. She dismissed his claims, stating she has no personal interest in his affairs and accused him of projecting his own guilt. “Let me begin with Humpty Dumpty @cubana_chiefpriest I always knew you were sl🙃w, but the extent of it remains baffling. At what point did your personal or family matters become relevant to me? I never involved you in my conversation especially one where I was addressing a blog for twisting my words and misdirecting their claims toward you. Are you upset because, out of pity, I gave your baby mama some financial assistance years ago?” She also called him out for implying she had asked him for a personal favor, clarifying that she had only reached out on behalf of a friend who was being mocked online. “And one last thing please enlighten the world on what favor I ever asked of you. Calling you on behalf of a colleague, pressured by Larritshoes’ persistent requests, is hardly a topic for discussion unless your intent is to embarrass that person. Point of correction, you never declined, you simply said you wld look into It. You didn’t help her but Can’t you see how Gods glory is radiating around this said person? With bigger and better deals to her credit?? Little people belittle people.” Tonto Dikeh also denied being the person behind Gistlover, challenging those accusing her to provide proof. “The Gistlover accusations have become tired and repetitive. If you have no course of action, then STFU. You all dance around my name like Telly tubbies, unable to sue or take your proof/ even file a proper petition with the authorities. Unless you identify as a woman b@ater, I don’t see any reason for comparison on mine or yours..” She concluded by reminding Cubana ChiefPriest of the unresolved paternity issue in Kenya, stating that she has no interest in competing with him over trivial matters. “I have no interest in your family dynamics, whether they stand on solid ground or not. But let’s not forget that on that same ‘solid rock,’ you fathered a child you’re now running from in Kenya. Boy, pleaseeee goodbye. I’m not a child competing over who has the bigger horse. I don’t need to put a label on you Nwa-Malaysia.” Related Posts Apostle Johnson Suleman Advises Against Overcommitting to Family Support in Recent Sermon Prominent preacher and founder of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, delivered a poignant message to his congregation, urging them Read more Grimes Accuses Elon Musk of Neglecting Their Son’s Health, Claims Shadowban on X Singer Grimes has taken to X to call out Elon Musk, the owner of X. Popular businessman Cubana Chief Priest has taken a jab at Burna Boy after a leaked audio featuring socialite Sophia Egbueje surfaced online. In the audio recordings, Sophia Egbueje expressed frustration over Burna Boy’s alleged failure to honor a promise he made to her. She recounted how the Grammy-winning artist pursued a romantic relationship with her, convincing her to be intimate with him. As part of his persuasion, Burna Boy allegedly promised to gift her a Lamborghini worth 500 million naira. However, after their encounter, he reportedly failed to deliver on his commitment. Reacting to the controversy, Cubana Chief Priest took to his Instagram story to mock Burna Boy, labeling his wealth as “audio money”—a term used to describe fake or exaggerated riches. He called out the singer for making false promises, especially when he knew Sophia’s livelihood depended on such transactions. “Osho free no good oh. Make una dey promise wetin una fit do. All this audio money here & there. Shebi you say you de pay cash & carry? This is pure scam! Na her business be that, and you know. Na you still hustle her, why defraud her for ordinary Lambo truck? Burna Boy, alongside Tems, Asake, and Wizkid, was nominated for the award, but Tems emerged victorious. Reacting to the outcome, Cubana Chief Priest posted on his Instagram story, suggesting that Tems would not have won if Sean Diddy Combs (“Diddy”) had not been in legal trouble. He humorously remarked, “If to say Diddy dey outside, dem for use Johnson baby oil rub away her Grammy.” Burna Boy has faced ongoing jests about his connection with Diddy, who is currently facing legal issues, including allegations related to sexual exploitation. Notable Nigerian businessman, Cubana Chief Priest, has opened up about his recent fallout with Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy, suggesting that jealousy over his close bond with Davido might be the root of their feud. Speaking in an interview on Rubbin’ Minds with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Cubana Chief Priest explained that he and Burna Boy were once friends but drifted apart as Burna’s fame grew. According to him, their connection faded over time, leading to a social media clash weeks ago after Burna Boy allegedly threw shade at him. “He came at me first, and I had to retaliate,” Cubana Chief Priest said. He speculated that Burna Boy might feel envious of his loyalty to Davido. “I’m always there for Davido, taking subs and backlashes for him. Burna Boy, who doesn’t have anyone like that by his side, might feel jealous.” The businessman went on to praise Davido for being a dependable friend, emphasizing how the DMW boss consistently shows up for him during crucial moments. When asked about allegations of being involved in fraudulent activities in the U.S., Cubana Chief Priest denied the claims, clarifying that his inability to travel to the U.S. stems from a visa issue he is working to resolve. As for the possibility of reconciling with Burna Boy, he expressed openness to ending their feud: “I’m a busy man with lots of deals to close, and Burna is also busy. But if he feels the need to settle things, I’m willing to bury the hatchet.” Related Posts Uriel was evicted, not Adekunle or Doyin. Afrobeats star Burna Boy has caused a stir on social media with a subtle jab aimed at his colleague, Davido, over the latter’s Grammy win. The drama comes amid an ongoing feud between Burna Boy and Cubana Chief Priest, a close associate of Davido, which has been making headlines. Cubana Chief Priest recently responded to what he believed was Burna Boy’s shade directed at him, calling the artist a “bend down Grammy collector” in a post on Instagram. In response, Burna Boy took to Instagram with a now-deleted post, where he jokingly acknowledged the “bend down” Grammy claim while questioning whether Davido even owned a Grammy. The post read, “Yes, Diddy oil me and I won my first ever Grammy. Your boss get am?” This exchange reignites the long-standing tension between Burna Boy and others in the industry. Last year, Burna Boy was involved in a controversy with Speed Darlington, leading to the latter’s arrest, following Darlington’s remarks about Burna Boy’s Grammy win and his connection to American mogul Diddy Combs. Popular influencer, Daniel Regha, has urged Nigerian music star Davido to step in and caution his friend, Cubana Chief Priest, amid the ongoing verbal spat between the socialite and Burna Boy. The exchange of words between Cubana Chief Priest and Burna Boy began yesterday, with Burna Boy referring to Chief Priest as “Owerri Rick Ross,” which was followed by a response from Chief Priest. In his reply, Cubana Chief Priest suggested that Burna Boy’s Grammy win may have had something to do with Diddy, sparking further controversy. Regha, commenting on the situation, criticized Cubana Chief Priest for using the Diddy allegation as a counterattack, calling it inappropriate and immature. He expressed that the ongoing back-and-forth between the two men was embarrassing and lacked class. He further stated, “Davido needs to caution Cubana Chief Priest; Using the Diddy allegation(s) as a clap-back is below the belt, it’s neither funny nor a sign of maturity. In as much as Burna is in the wrong, there should be a line one shouldn’t cross for the sake of clout, & Cubana should be the last person throwing shades. All that money, but these people can’t show any form of class, it’s embarrassing to say the least.” Related Posts Uriel was evicted, not Adekunle or Doyin.
