Popular skit maker Nasboi has advised Nigerians to stop basing their perception of marriage on the lives of celebrities.
Taking to his X handle, Nasboi addressed the wave of cynicism about marriage sparked by singer 2Baba’s recent announcement of his impending divorce from wife Annie after 12 years of marriage.
In a candid post, he wrote:
“One celebrity divorce, then you begin to say this thing called marriage is not for me.
But you forget your parents that have been married for over 30-something years. Stop using celebrity marriages to define marriage. If you like, no marry, na you sabi.”
