Steven Gerrard Set for Anfield Return in Charity Match Against Chelsea

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard will once again grace the Anfield pitch as he takes part in a charity match against Chelsea on March 22. The former Reds captain will be joined by ex-teammates Peter Crouch, Sami Hyypia, Martin Skrtel, and Dirk Kuyt, rekindling old rivalries in a game for a good cause.

Gerrard, 44, has been out of management since departing Al-Ettifaq in January, leaving the Saudi club in 12th place. His return to Liverpool’s home ground will be a nostalgic moment for fans.

Proceeds from the game will support charitable initiatives, including the Chelsea Foundation and the Chelsea Players’ Trust.
