Popular social media critic Verydarkman (VDM) has leveled serious accusations against Pinovibes, the owner of the renowned Instagram blog GossipMill, alleging emotional blackmail and manipulation.
In a recent video, VDM revealed that he and Pinovibes were once close acquaintances, with their relationship strengthening when the blogger frequently shared his content. However, the bond reportedly soured after Pinovibes disclosed his identity as the creator of GossipMill.
VDM claimed that Pinovibes began pressuring him to promote his personal Instagram account—requests that he declined multiple times. He further alleged that Pinovibes retaliated by distorting his statements in blog posts to tarnish his public image.
The critic also accused Pinovibes of engaging in smear campaigns during the controversy surrounding VDM’s NGO funds. According to VDM, Pinovibes falsely claimed to have donated N2 million to the organization and later used the claim against him.
In an 11-minute video shared on his page, VDM expressed frustration with the situation and emphasized his decision to avoid alliances with certain influencers.
“They are all the same. Once you refuse to be used, they start fighting you. GossipMill started joining forces against me just because of this guyman. I don’t want y’all to be surprised when they start. THE RATEL never loses. I no like famzers and I no want do friends with una, simple,” he captioned the post.
