Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has showered admiration on her estranged cousin-in-law, May Yul Edochie, while seemingly taking a dig at Yul Edochie’s second wife, Judy Austin.
Rita took to social media to share a glamorous video of May attending the premiere of Funke Akindele’s Everybody Loves Jenifa last Sunday.
She praised May’s timeless beauty, highlighting how she maintains her youthful glow despite nearly two decades of marriage and four children.
“My glam gorgeous queen is just hotter than those oppressing themselves and not her.
After four kids and over a decade of marriage, you still shine like a diamond, looking more like a young girl who is yet to hit 18,” Rita wrote.
In a veiled swipe at Judy Austin, Rita remarked that despite Judy still having children, her appearance seems “advanced in age.”
She went on to celebrate May as a “treasure” and a “masterpiece,” emphasizing her inner and outer beauty.
“This video is everything, my darling daughter,” Rita continued. “You’re a stunning gem, blessed with a beautiful body stature. After four kids and over a decade of marriage, you still shine like a diamond.
Whereas, some people are still having kids but look advanced in age. An 80-year-old woman like me seems to be younger than they are. Haaa, grace too strong for my Queen May ooo.”
Rita’s heartfelt post described May as a blessing and a source of inspiration, calling her a creation perfected by God.
She celebrated May’s character, resilience, and beauty, noting her ability to light up any room with her presence.
“You’re a treasure, my dear. God must have created you on a Sunday and spent quality time perfecting his masterpiece! I’m so proud to call you mine. Your beauty, both inside and out, is a blessing to behold,” she added.
