Nollywood star, Rita Dominic, has debunked reports that she caused a stir at a birthday party in Ghana over the weekend. In her social media page, the actress described the reports as false, affirming she did not disregard fans and pushed off journalists as reported in some publications.
The rumor was triggered after Dominic was reported to have avoided contact with fans at a Ghanaian businessman’s birthday celebration and also avoided the media.
Reacting to the claims, she explained that as a public figure, she understands the place of the media and would never try to prevent them from doing their job.
“Duh! Someone who works the kind of job that I do and who is in a public space would not stop the press from getting their job done. That’s lame. Stop making up stuff that doesn’t happen,” she wrote.
