PSC spokesperson Ikechukwu Ani stated that the officers underwent rigorous written and oral examinations before their promotions were approved.
Chairman of the PSC, DIG Hashimu Argungu (rtd), emphasized that written and oral examinations will now be mandatory prerequisites for promotions at all ranks in the Nigeria Police Force. He urged officers to adopt global best practices and enhance their proficiency, particularly in ICT.
