Portable Releases New Song Inspired by ‘Truth or Dare’ Craze

Portable

Nigerian street music sensation Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, otherwise well known as Portable Zazu, has released a new song inspired by the world ‘Truth or Dare’ mania that has swept social media. The word took traction following a dramatic scandal when skit producer Ijoba Lande accused his wife, Darasimi, of having an affair with actor Baba Tee.

The allegations stoked hot debates online, with arguments surrounding loyalty and adultery. In the course of the controversy, Portable—whose baby mama, Ashabi Simple, is an actress too—was not left out. He bluntly came against Baba Tee, strongly condemning the actor for allegedly playing with another man’s wife.

The singer also warned the person who would attempt the same with him and his own baby mama, cursing such a person. To further solidify his stance, Portable used the trending subject and placed it in his new track. In a video on the internet, he was seen vibing to the song, which is in Yoruba.

The majority of his followers believe that the lyrics are directed at Ijoba Lande, talking about how his wife was “taken” away from him. The song received mixed reactions from listeners, as they praised Portable for his ability to capture the trending issues on his tracks, while others asked if the song was really necessary.
