Portable Clashes With Influencer GheGhe, Cites King Solomon to Defend Spending on Women

Nigerian singer Portable has publicly criticized influencer GheGhe over his controversial stance on men spending money on women, sparking heated online debate.

The disagreement stems from GheGhe’s repeated advice through his “School of Wisdom,” where he tells men not to give women money or financially support them, calling it a “poor investment.”

His teachings have attracted young male followers seeking relationship guidance.

Portable strongly disagreed with this philosophy, using biblical references to make his point.

In a viral video, he referenced King Solomon and his 700 wives, arguing that successful men throughout history have financially supported women.

“GheGhe, you’re a stingy man, you’re a broke man. What did King Solomon give 700 women? You think Solomon didn’t spend money and women followed him?” Portable said.

He went further, warning that GheGhe’s teachings could harm his followers’ prospects in relationships and life.

Portable openly mocked both the influencer and his students, suggesting they were heading toward poverty and loneliness.

“Now I hear some individuals are going to your school. You’re going to be broke if you go there. GheGhe, you and your students, what are you battling? You’re poor,” he added.

The video quickly went viral, dividing social media users.

Some accused Portable of seeking attention, while others questioned GheGhe’s methods, particularly his practice of charging followers for uniforms while preaching against spending money on women.
