Street-hop artist Portable and actress-entrepreneur Lizzy Anjorin have gotten into a bitter online feud that’s captivating social media users.
The conflict began when Lizzy posted a video mocking residents of Sango, the area where Portable lives and operates his Odogwu Bar.
She claimed people from Sango couldn’t afford an $800 bag, which clearly upset the musician.
Portable hit back hard, arguing that Sango residents were wealthy enough to “buy her and all her belongings.”
He told her to stop complaining online and suggested that since she could no longer compete in Nollywood, she should “pack her things and go inside.”
The “Zazuu” star didn’t stop there. He compared her career unfavorably to successful actresses like Funke Akindele and Eniola Badmus, noting that even younger actors were still doing well.
He advised her to explore other opportunities, including possible government positions like Eniola Badmus received, instead of attacking people online.
Lizzy wasn’t having it. During a live session, she dismissed Portable as just a temporary trend, predicting that “after two music videos, he would be finished.”
She called him a betrayer, comparing him to her longtime enemy Iyabo Ojo, and accused him of enjoying other people’s problems.
She insisted Portable’s success wouldn’t last, claiming he only stayed relevant through controversy and negativity.
The fight surprised many fans since the two previously had a friendly relationship.
This latest drama adds to Lizzy’s history of public feuds, including her ongoing rivalry with Iyabo Ojo.
Fans quickly reacted to the exchange, with many enjoying the drama and others predicting that Portable would turn the controversy into new music.
