Nigerian talent manager Soso Soberekon has revealed new details about the long-standing feud between the Okoye twins, formerly known as P-Square.
In an Instagram Live chat with media personality Daddy Freeze, Soberekon disclosed that several high-profile figures have tried to reconcile Peter and Paul Okoye but failed.
Among those who attempted to mend their broken relationship are former President Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Patience, presidential candidate Peter Obi, billionaire businessman Emeka Offor, and Obioma Liyel Imoke, wife of a former Cross River State governor.
Soberekon even hinted that Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, may have been involved, though he could not confirm it.
However, one revelation stood out—Peter Okoye was reportedly “uncomfortable” with how Peter Obi handled the reconciliation efforts.
According to Soberekon, Peter’s dissatisfaction with Obi’s approach may have contributed to the continued rift between the brothers.
The Okoye twins’ fallout has long transcended mere musical disagreements, turning into a deep family dispute.
Their estrangement has reportedly escalated to legal battles involving Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
