Peter Obi, the former presidential candidate of the Labour Party, has strongly condemned a recent statement made by a Canada-based Nigerian woman, identified as Amaka Patience Sunnberger. Sunnberger, who resides in Ontario, Canada, made a disturbing threat during a discussion on a TikTok space, where she mentioned her intention to poison Yorubas and Edo natives in Canada.
During the conversation, Sunnberger expressed her frustration, stating that Igbos have been marginalized by other tribes for too long and suggested that it was time for them to be eradicated. She further threatened to start poisoning the meals of her Yoruba colleagues at work.
In response to these alarming comments, Peter Obi took to X to voice his disapproval. He described Sunnberger’s remarks as ”divisive” and emphasized that such behavior has no place in Nigerian society.
