Mike Bamiloye, the renowned Nigerian Christian filmmaker and leader of Mount Zion Faith Ministries, has raised concerns about a supposed “fake rapture” plan, warning believers that scientists may be working on a deceptive event to confuse and divert attention from the real rapture, as described in Christian teachings.
In a recent Facebook post, Bamiloye referenced a caption about an “extraterrestrial invasion” set to take 10,000 people in 2025. He noted that global signs point to the imminent return of Christ, but he believes these events are being manipulated to mislead the faithful.
Bamiloye wrote:
“You don’t believe in the rapture? There are too many signs and signals around us. Even scientists and world powers believe that an imminent occurrence could lead to the disappearance of many people. They are working hard to provide an explanation ahead of time.”
He further stated that scientists are secretly developing technologies that could make people vanish, describing these efforts as an attempt to create a “fake rapture” to distract believers from preparing for the actual event. He emphasized that the goal is to spread confusion, orchestrated by the devil.
Highlighting the growing number of UFO reports, sightings of strange creatures, and unusual weather patterns, Bamiloye declared that these phenomena are signs of a worldwide delusion, signaling that the real rapture is near.
“We have entered the season of great delusion,” he added, pointing to the increasing sightings of mysterious beings and phenomena as part of this global deception.
