Fans of Nollywood actress Omoni Oboli are reacting with shock and disappointment after her latest movie, Love in Every Word, was removed from YouTube despite its massive success. The film, which featured actors including Bambam (Teddy A’s wife) and Uzor Arukwe, went viral, accumulating a staggering 7 million views in four days.
According to reports from Gistreel, it appears YouTube has taken it down following a copyright report from one “Chinonso Obiora Skyberry.”
Some fans who were halfway through watching the film took to social media to vent, baffled and angered.
- @Ebukaobrota: “@omonioboli ma’am, why am I not able to find the movie again on YouTube?”
- @NellyB: “I was watching it a few minutes ago, and suddenly it was gone. Hope YouTube did not remove this great movie after achieving those views in just how many days?”
- @Solomonitegboje: “They have removed the movie from YouTube.”
- @Otoyoessisi: “Why is the link showing that the video is not available due to a copyright infringement report? I had not finished watching yesterday only to see this. What is going on?”
- @Ahmedzeal: “Your movie is no longer on your YouTube channel.
