Nigerian social media personality Tochukwu Ojogwu, aka Odumodublvck, has generated controversy on social media after declaring John Mikel Obi the greatest Nigerian footballer of all time.
On X (formerly Twitter), the ‘Cast’ singer rightly posted:
“Mikel Obi is the greatest Nigerian footballer of all time.”
His statement soon caused varying reactions among football fans and pundits, with others debating whether Mikel is the greatest of all time.
Though there were some who agreed with Odumodublvck’s view, others held that Nigerian football legends like Rashidi Yekini, Nwankwo Kanu, Austin Jay-Jay Okocha, Stephen Keshi, and Christian Chukwu have greater claims to the title.
