NITDA, ECOWAS Strengthen Youth Cybersecurity Skills at 3rd Regional Hackathon

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and ECOWAS joined forces with other stakeholders to enhance the cybersecurity skills of West African youths at the 3rd ECOWAS Regional Cybersecurity Hackathon Challenge 2024 in Abuja.

The two-day event, aimed at addressing rising cybercrime threats in the region, concluded with awards to participants, highlighting their role in safeguarding digital infrastructure. ECOWAS officials emphasized the importance of the competition in expanding the skills of young talent, vital to the region’s cybersecurity efforts.
