Nigerian Man Weeps Over Inflation as Fan He Bought for ₦23K Now Sells for ₦110K

One Nigerian man has lamented on social media over the inflation rate in the country, explaining that a standing fan he purchased for ₦23,000 during the administration of former President Buhari now retails for an eye-watering ₦110,000 under the administration of President Tinubu.

In a trending TikTok video, the man stood beside his fan, recalling how much he had paid years ago.

“Look at this fan—I bought it for ₦23K during Buhari’s regime. Now, I went back to the same store, and the same individual who sold it to me for ₦23K is now asking for ₦110K,” he lamented.
