A Nigerian man took to the internet to cry for help, complaining that multiple arms of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) have surrounded his residence, and he cannot enjoy any silence anymore.
In a viral TikTok video, the upset man complained that his house is flanked on all sides—front, back, and sides—by RCCG churches with round-the-clock services.
He revealed that the constant noise has begun to affect his health, depriving him of valuable sleep.
They are operated by Pastor Enoch Adeboye, and their activities have resulted in serious noise pollution, which has been detrimental to his health. As a last resort, he sought the help of Nigerians.
“Nigerians, help! Pastor Adeboye’s people won’t let me sleep. They have a church behind me, in front of me, and one to the side—RCCG all around! They’re all practicing simultaneously. What do I do?” he cried.
“I can’t sleep at night, I can’t sleep during the day. Save me from Pastor Adeboye’s people, please. Noise pollution is killing my brain; don’t let my head scatter. Please, don’t let me die!”
His dramatic outburst has since caused outrage on social media, with people reacting to the issue.
Some felt sorry for him, advising him to sue or relocate, while some asserted that churches are entitled to operate just like any other building.
