Renowned Nigerian pastor and gospel artist Nathaniel Bassey has touched down in Washington, D.C., where he is set to perform at the Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast ahead of the inauguration of President-elect Donald J. Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance.
The event, led by Reverend Merrie Turner, will take place on January 20, 2025, as part of the celebrations surrounding the inauguration. Nathaniel Bassey is among the few Nigerians invited to participate in this prestigious occasion, highlighting his global recognition as a gospel minister.
On Sunday, January 19, Bassey shared a video of his arrival in the U.S. on his social media, posting a clip of cars driving on a highway with the caption, “Blessed Is He that comes in the name of The LORD, DC.”
