Mr Eazi becomes first Nigerian to win Latin Grammy, receives four certificates.

Popular Nigerian singer and record executive, Oluwatosin Ajibade, professionally known by his stage name Mr Eazi, has become the first Nigerian musician to win a Latin Grammy after receiving nominations in four categories.

The nominations at the 21st edition of the annual Latin Grammy awards are for his contribution to the albums of Bad Bunny and J Balvin.

Mr Eazi was a featured artiste on the song, Arcoíris off ‘Colores’ with J Balvin, which won the ‘Best Urban’ album category and also Oasis on the J Balvin x Bad Bunny’ album in the same category.

The singer’s contributions to both ‘Oasis’ and ‘Colores’ were widely acclaimed for its genre bending sound and innovative approach to Latin music.

The featured tracks, ‘Acoiris‘ and ‘COMO UN BEBÉ’ have garnered over 198 and 54 million streams, respectively, on Spotify and helped to bring a fresh perspective to the projects.

Mr Eazi’s success in the Latin music world is a testament to his talent and commitment to breaking down barriers by creating a truly global sound.
