Morayo Afolabi-Brown Slams Lawmaker Natasha Osawaru for Accepting 2Baba’s Proposal

Popular media personality Morayo Afolabi-Brown has openly criticized Edo lawmaker Natasha Irobosa Osawaru for accepting a marriage proposal from Nigerian music legend Innocent “2Baba” Idibia amid his ongoing marital issues with Annie Idibia.

Speaking on TVC’s Your View, Morayo expressed strong disapproval of 2Baba moving on so quickly after his troubled marriage. She previously argued that the singer should not be allowed to “go scot-free” after allegedly abandoning Annie.

In a recent segment of the show, Morayo turned her focus to Natasha, stating that the lawmaker had lowered her standards by choosing to be with someone as controversial as 2Baba. She questioned the rationale behind dating a man with such a history, attributing Natasha’s decision to low self-esteem.

“Doesn’t it reek of low self-esteem to date someone like 2Face? For you to even allow 2Face to propose to you?

For you to leave your lawmaker self and fall in love with a man who has that many women in his life?” she asked.

Morayo didn’t stop there, insisting that 2Baba’s past relationships and controversies should disqualify him from remarrying.

“Yes, she’s still human, but he has enough baggage. Are you normal? He doesn’t deserve to remarry.

If a woman were in 2Face’s shoes, would she get away with that kind of thing? Never! He doesn’t deserve love!” she said passionately.

While Morayo strongly condemned both 2Baba and Natasha, one of her co-hosts offered a different perspective. The co-host argued that 2Baba might actually be the victim in his marriage with Annie, pointing to their long history of public disputes. According to the co-host, it is unfair to place all the blame on the singer without acknowledging Annie’s role in their troubled relationship.
