Widow of late singer Mohbad, Wunmi Aloba, has appealed to her father-in-law, Joseph Aloba, to allow the body of her husband to be buried so that he can rest in peace. Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023, and was temporarily interred. His corpse was, nevertheless, exhumed the following day for autopsy.
It has since that time been in the morgue, with his father insisting that the singer can only be reburied after a DNA test is conducted on his son, Liam, to establish paternity.
According to Linda Ikeji blog, Wunmi vented her frustrations on her Instagram page on Tuesday, stating that it has been 18 months since Mohbad’s death, yet he is still not buried. She accused her father-in-law of keeping the body in the morgue, not out of grief or love, but to continue getting attention and financial assistance from the public.
