Joseph Aloba, the father of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has once again cast doubt on whether Liam, the son Mohbad left behind, is truly his biological grandson. In a recent interview with Silverbird TV, Mr. Aloba revealed that he has not seen or had access to Liam since Mohbad’s untimely death in September 2023.
When asked about his efforts to meet Liam, Mr. Aloba stated, “As a father, they know where I live.
They should bring the child to me and say, ‘This is your grandson.’ I requested a DNA test.
They should have told me, ‘Daddy, go and do it at your convenience,’ but instead, they’ve been hiding it.
This has now become a public issue. Let the court decide about the DNA test, and then I will know what to do.”
Pressed further on whether he believes Liam is his grandson, he responded, “Let the court make the final say concerning that.”
When asked if Liam shares any resemblance with Mohbad, Mr. Aloba firmly said, “No… with what I’m seeing.”
The interviewer followed up, asking, “So he is not your grandson?” Mr. Aloba replied, “He is not.”
