Miss Universe Nigeria and first runner-up of Miss Universe 2024, Chidimma Adetshina, has sparked controversy in South Africa after being spotted in the country. A viral video showed Chidimma enjoying herself at Life Grand Café in Waterfront, Cape Town, chatting with other women.
However, her presence did not sit well with some South Africans, who questioned how she re-entered the country. A South African critic, Kwena Moleka, alleged that Chidimma had left the country under questionable circumstances and returned with confidence.
According to Kwena, Chidimma has disregarded the laws and shown no remorse for the fraud allegations linked to her mother. She also accused the Home Affairs Border Management Agency of corruption, claiming Cape Town has become a safe haven for international criminals.
While some South Africans expressed outrage over her return, others defended her, pointing out that she had not committed any crime.
