Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has signed a new three-year contract, extending his stay with the club until 2027. The Spaniard, who was set to be out of contract at the end of the season, originally joined the Gunners in December 2019, replacing Unai Emery.
Arteta secured an FA Cup victory in his debut season as manager and has since led the team to consecutive second-place finishes in the Premier League. A former Arsenal captain, Arteta made 150 appearances as a player for the club.
