Man Shares How Divine Guidance Stopped Him from Engaging with Toxic Online Content

A young man has described how he was guided by God to stop engaging with a provocative Twitter thread on women.

Identified on Twitter as Kunle, he posted about an experience where he came across a post with tips to men on how to damage a woman’s self-esteem. Curious, he was about to open the thread when he was prompted by a sudden urge by the Holy Spirit to stop. He listened to the warning and instead opted to scroll past the post.

Assessing the experience, Kunle took the time to remind everyone to be cautious about what they take on the internet, particularly for the impact of social media on one’s beliefs and values.

He tweeted;

I came across a post on 7 ways to destroy a woman’s ego. I was about to open it when the Holy Spirit asked if I wanted to destroy my wife’s ego? Having said no, I had to scroll away. Watch what you feed yourselves on the internet.
