LG Electronics Nigeria Earns Multiple Awards for Innovation and Customer-Centric Excellence

Customers and stakeholders have commended LG Electronics Nigeria for its consistent recognition in innovation, design, and customer satisfaction, earning accolades both locally and globally.

 

Bamise Adeleke, a satisfied customer, highlighted LG’s recent recognition at the Media Consortium Conference and Awards held on September 26 at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Ikeja. LG Electronics received multiple awards for its groundbreaking innovations and unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. The event, themed “Meeting the Brands/Consumers’ Expectations in a Challenging Economy,” underscored LG’s leadership in aligning with consumer needs.

 

At the event, Yinka Adebayo, Group Executive Director at Omnicom Media Group-WeCA, praised LG Electronics for its innovation-driven and customer-focused approach, which has solidified its status as a preferred household brand in Nigeria.

 

Another customer, Emeka Oji, commended LG’s global recognition at prestigious design events. LG secured 28 awards at the 2024 Red Dot Awards for innovative products, including TVs, air conditioners, and washing machines. Similarly, at the 2024 iF Design Awards, LG received 29 accolades for standout products like the LG Signature Washer-Dryer, StandbyMe Go, and Artcool air conditioner. LG’s success continued at the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) 2024, where the company won 23 awards, including two Gold Awards for products like the LG Therma V™ R290 Monobloc heat pump.

 

Business strategy expert Ibrahim Mohammed praised LG’s focus on energy efficiency, noting that the company was honored with the 2024 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year award. He added that LG’s adaptability and commitment to sustainability have solidified its reputation globally.

 

On October 31, 2024, LG Electronics was named Nigeria’s Leading Global Electronics and Home Appliance Brand of the Year at the National Quality Conference (NQC), receiving the prestigious NQC-CQA Super Seal Gold Certificate for its contributions to innovation and quality in Nigeria’s electronics market.

 

Further recognition came at the 2024 EDGE Awards  hosted by Marketing Edge Magazine, where LG Electronics was celebrated as the Outstanding Refrigeration Brand of the Decade.

 

Commenting on these achievements, Hari Elluru, Head of Corporate Marketing at LG Electronics, stated that the awards validate LG’s positive impact on millions of Nigerians through energy-efficient, innovative, and sustainable products. He reaffirmed LG’s commitment to setting benchmarks in quality, customer satisfaction, and technological advancement, both in Nigeria and globally.
