A woman has accused Abu Salami, who is allegedly Burna Boy’s personal assistant, of seeking sexual favors in exchange for fulfilling a promise the singer reportedly made to Helen, Cubana Chiefpriest’s alleged baby mama. The accuser, claiming to be a friend of Helen, shared her concerns in a video, revealing that the situation had become increasingly uncomfortable and left them fearing for Helen’s safety.
According to the woman, media personality Lucky Udu advised Helen to reach out to Abu Salami on Instagram. When she did, Abu allegedly claimed Burna Boy wanted her to come to Nigeria, where he promised to enroll her in a gym and register her at a hair salon to earn money during her stay.
However, the tone of their conversations allegedly shifted, with Abu Salami reportedly calling Helen romantic names and expressing his desire to have a child with her. He also allegedly told her she would live with him during her time in Nigeria.
When Helen asked if she could bring a friend or family member for support, Abu Salami reportedly became hostile, accusing her of treating the trip like a vacation. He allegedly insisted that Burna Boy had only provided a plane ticket for one person.
The accuser further claimed that Abu Salami sent Helen $350 to cover the costs of her passport and other travel documents but told her she would have to stay in Nigeria for seven months and would not be allowed to meet Burna Boy. The woman expressed her frustration over what she described as the “sexualization of help,” which has left them skeptical about Abu Salami’s intentions.
She said her priority is protecting her friend from what she perceives as inappropriate treatment.
