Kanye West Urges American Rappers to Learn Business from Nigerian Counterparts

In a recent interview with DJ Akademiks, Kanye West warned American rappers to take lessons from Nigerian musicians by focusing on business skills and financial literacy.

He faulted players in the industry for being ignorant of the business and legal aspects of their careers, yet relying on consultants from outside the industry. West also cited the success of Jewish investors in music and entertainment companies, challenging artists to build their businesses independently.
