Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has spoken with deep gratitude to fans and colleagues following the star-studded premiere of her maiden cinema movie, Labake Olododo.
The long-awaited epic movie was showcased on Sunday, March 23, at IMAX Cinemas in Lekki, Lagos.
With the theme “Channel Your Inner Warrior,” the event attracted a list of A-list celebrities and cinema lovers, which made it one of the most glamorous movie premieres in Nollywood history.
The launch was simply spectacular, as the crème de la crème of the industry came out in warrior-inspired outfits to boost Ojo.
Some of the A-list guests on the invite list were Funke Akindele, Toyin Abraham, Odunlade Adekola, Ruth Kadiri, Chioma Good Hair, Woli Agba, Kiekie, Ibrahim Chatta, Ronke Oshodi, Saidi Balogun, Sola Kosoko, and a host of others.
Following the success of the event, Iyabo Ojo returned to Instagram to share her heartfelt appreciation.
She elaborated on how profoundly she was touched by the love and admiration of her fans, friends, and peers in the industry.
I am still overwhelmed with love,” she wrote. “Thank you to all who showed up to celebrate this milestone moment with me. I thank you all from the depth of my heart.”
She also wanted to take a moment to thank her executive producers, FilmOne Studios, Abazee Productions, and Alaba Ultimate, sponsors, and vendors who made the occasion a success.
Concluding her speech, Ojo reminded the fans that Labake Olododo will be opening in cinemas across the country on March 28, and called on everyone to support the movie and make it a blockbuster.
