Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo has just become a grandmother after her daughter Priscilla Ojo’s first child with Tanzanian artist Juma Jux. The couple had a baby boy, Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala, in Canada.
Iyabo Ojo made the announcement on Sunday via her social media platforms, where she was overjoyed and grateful for the safe deliveries of both mother and child.
Priscilla and Juma Jux, who also married earlier this year with wedding ceremonies held between February and May in Nigeria and Tanzania, announced they were pregnant in July. Just days ago, they had a blue-themed gender reveal party affirming they were having a boy.
The news has since elicited an avalanche of congratulatory messages from celebrities and fans in Nigeria and Tanzania. Their romance, which was first brought to light last year, has continued to make headlines, thus ensuring that their wedding and the birth of their child recently is among the hottest celebrity gossip of 2025.
