Isaac Fayose Backs Verydarkman for INEC Chairman to Curb Corruption

Social commentator Isaac Fayose has suggested that Vincent Martins Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), should be appointed as the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Fayose, the brother of former Ekiti State governor Ayo Fayose, believes that VDM’s leadership would help prevent corrupt politicians from returning to power. He argues that corruption exists across all sectors in Nigeria, citing the case of Oba Joseph Oloyede, a monarch from Osun currently imprisoned in the U.S. for alleged fraud. He also referenced a pastor detained abroad.

According to Fayose, appointing VDM as INEC chairman would ensure that only credible leaders emerge in governance.
