Social media influencers Habeeb Hamzat, commonly known as Peller, and Elizabeth Amaduo, better known as Jarvis or Jadrolita, have joined the viral 30-Day Rant Challenge (#30DaysRantChallenge), a viral trend in which young Nigerians protest the degrading economic status of their nation.
The contest has seen several people vent their frustrations on the social media platforms, highlighting the increase in cost of living and opening up to the public about their everyday economic challenges.
In a recent video, Peller satirically complained about the high cost of mangoes in the market.
He revealed that vendors were selling just two for ₦500, which he found absurd for a fruit that grows naturally in the country.
To drive home his discontent even more, Peller danced to the iconic protest song Jaga Jaga by Eedris Abdulkareem, a symbolic act that triggered reactions from netizens.
The couple’s participation in the challenge has been under scrutiny, with some Nigerians applauding them for using their platform to speak up. Others called on celebrities to add their voices to the fight.
