Nigerian provocative preacher, Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje, popularly known as “Indaboski,” is once again trending after a campaign poster suggesting his 2027 presidential ambition went viral online.
The recently-viral poster, released to the public on social media during the week, shows the charismatic preacher allegedly running for office on a mysterious political party named “PDK.”
Its origin is unknown, with no official word from Odumeje or his team whether it is authentic.
This is barely weeks after Odumeje publicly declared his intention to contest the 2027 presidential elections.
Then, he stated that Nigeria needed a young, energetic leader and introduced himself as the candidate for the position.
However, most Nigerians are unsure whether to take the gesture seriously or attribute it to his dramatic nature.
Familiar with his off-the-wall sermons and outrageous appearance, Odumeje neither denied nor confirmed the viral poster, leaving the nation in suspense.
The internet, however, has been on a wild spree.
Those using social media were swift in reaction, and most did so by making jokes. @salimibrahim1 cracked a joke: “Be like these men don dey on some substances.”
@jublanah joined in the comments: “If this is true it will be my first time applying for a voter’s card.”
